2006 Willatte Valley Pinot Noir is now available. We traditionaly age our Pinot Noirs for 18 months in French oak with 30% of new oak each year. Our 06 vintage is no different with the exception that it has bottle aged for 18 month. This additional aging means the wine has hit its stride and is ready to enjoy. It shows an elegant aroma of black cherries that lead to flavors fo lean cherries and a hit of licorice. A well blanced acidity leads to a lengthy finish. This food friendly wine paris well with beef and pork or just to finish off a great evening.
